I met Autumn through a paper flier I posted in the SFSU music department some time around early 2007. I was looking for violinists/cellists to play experimental music with me. We hit it off right away, musically - her on violin and me on my Moog. It was one of those truly magical musical moments where there was virtually no discussion about what we were going to do - we just played and it worked.
We played on a regular basis until about 2009. She'd come over and we'd jam or she'd record violin parts for the ambient, and later Burial Tree, projects I was working on at the time. I also played live with her band a few times, which was a ton of fun. Autumn describes what we do as "soul music." I would agree with that description.
These three tunes are a solid indicator of what we'd do when we played together. There are some minimal overdubs/effects, but other than that these songs were played as you hear them, in real time & tuning (both were very organic).
Thanks for listening.
